Megyn Kelly called out actor Bryan Cranston for alienating a person they both know because this person showed support for former President Donald Trump.
In a post on X that’s since gone viral, the host of Sirius XM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast reposted a clip of Cranston stumping for Vice President Kamala Harris and said that he despises Trump supporters.
“Bryan Cranston ended his lifelong friendship with someone very close to him because the friend is a Republican/Trump supporter,” Kelly wrote. “I know the friend well. Only the most rabid deranged person would do this.”
“Remember that when you see him starring in [something],” she added. “If you vote Trump, he can’t stand you.”
At the time of this publication, the post has been viewed 3.4 million times.
Later on her podcast, Kelly explained her post further about “a dear friend” of hers who she said “was one of this guy’s closest friends for decades.”
“And Bryan Cranston dumped my friend as his friend because he’s a Republican and voted for Trump,” the host said. “He’s not even like a huge Republican. He’s a Republican… he’s a right-leaning guy, but he ended their lifelong friendship just because he turned out to be a Trump supporter. That is so vile and so disgusting…”
Kelly’s post came just after Cranston appeared in Phoenix, Arizona, where he endorsed Harris because of her radical abortion record.
“I am not a politician. I am not a doctor or a lawyer, but I played all of those on television,” Cranston told the crowd. “But I am a father of a daughter, and it’s important to me for her life now, for the future and other father’s daughters to be able to have within their lifetime, the fundamental right of freedom of choice.”
“There should not be anyone but them deciding what happens to their own bodies. And that’s why I am enthusiastically supporting Vice President Harris and [Minnesota] Governor [Tim Walz],” he added.
A new ad campaign running in battleground states — from The Women Speak Out PAC, a partner of SBA Pro-Life America — points out how they said Harris has refused to “name a single limit on abortion, even in the seventh, eighth, and ninth months of pregnancy,” SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser told The Daily Wire.
“Harris promises to federally force taxpayers to fund all-trimester abortions and cheers on politicians who shut down pregnancy centers that offer real choices and resources for women,” she added.
“Most Americans have reasonable views on abortion. Kamala Harris goes too far. Most Americans support parental notification. Kamala led the charge against it. Most Americans oppose taxpayers funding abortions in foreign countries. Kamala is for it,” a narrator in one of the digital ads says.
