JD Vance’s Plane Forced To Make Emergency Landing

A Boeing 737 that was carrying Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance was forced to make an emergency landing on Friday at Milwaukee International Airport over possible issues with the aircraft.

The plane, dubbed Trump Force Two, had to return to the airport around 1:30 p.m., shortly after takeoff, and was cleared to fly again about an hour later.

“The pilot advised there was a malfunction with the door seal. After declaring an emergency, Trump Force Two returned to Milwaukee,” said Taylor Van Kirk, a spokeswoman for the senator. “As soon as the issue was resolved, the plane returned to its originally planned flight path back to Cincinnati.”

Last week, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s plane was forced to make an emergency landing after experiencing a mechanical issue.

Trump was on his way to a rally at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse at Montana State University in Bozeman last Friday when the plane was forced to land in Billings, located approximately 150 miles east of Bozeman.

Trump was holding the rally to help boost Republican Senate nominee Tim Sheehy, a former Navy SEAL, in his race against Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) — a race that will go a long way toward determining which party controls the U.S. Senate starting next January.
