Virginia woman accused of having sexual relations with 15-year-old twin brothers

A 37-year-old Virginia woman was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting twin brothers who lived next door. They apparently maintained an illicit relationship for months, which came to an end after the woman's husband caught her topless with one of the teen boys.

Ashleigh Watts reportedly kept up a relationship with one of the 15-year-old boys since June 2022, according to Fox News. The Chesapeake Police Department received an anonymous call about the relationship in February 2022.

Watts' husband said he first discovered the relationship his wife was having with the teen boys after he woke up around 2:00 a.m. on February 17 to find that his wife was not in bed. When he went downstairs to check if she was down there, he found her laying topless on the couch with one of the boys, who was "pretend[ing] to be asleep."

Watts reportedly has a son around the same age as the twin boys. The Watts family apparently had a "very close relationship" with the neighbors and an "open-door policy," per the report. The teen reportedly told his parents that he had gone over to the Watts' home to smoke marijuana and "chilled until he fell asleep," claiming there was no sexual relationship.

However, the boy later confessed to his father that he and Watts had had sex multiple times.

The boy's parents told police that the teen confided in a neighbor about the situation, saying that he had been having sex with Watts since June 2022. He told the neighbor they were in love, per WVBT-TV.

The boy said that when he turned 17, Watts would leave her husband and they would get married. The boy was subsequently reported missing in July, months after his relationship with Watts was revealed. The police found him 20 days later in Watts' home. Officers reportedly removed a mattress in an upstairs bedroom and discovered him in a small space, wearing nothing but boxers.

Watts was ultimately charged on July 26, 2023 with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The smitten boy's twin brother shared with police that Watts would also touch him inappropriately. He added that she had given him pairs of her panties and would invite him over to smoke marijuana.

Watts is set to appear in court for indecency with a minor in October. The teens' parents and Watts' husband have filed protective orders against her.

The protective order affidavit described how the husband found large amounts of cash, marijuana, and a prepaid cell phone during Watts' arrest.
