Popular ‘Paw Patrol’ Cartoon Spinoff Slammed For Introducing ‘Non-Binary’ Character

The popular kids cartoon “Paw Patrol” introduced a new “non-binary” character on one of its spinoff shows, “Rubble & Crew.”

In a recent episode of the Nickelodeon series called “The Crew Builds An Observatory,” the English bulldog welcomes a so-called “non-binary” character named River into the mix.

The entire episode revolves around the gang building an observatory for stargazing and does not address River’s identity. But LGBTQ activist Lindsay Amer, who runs the YouTube channel “Queer Kids Stuff,” described more details about River’s inclusion in an Instagram post.

“They brought me on to consult on the first nonbinary character—meet River!!—for the PP universe and write their episode, talk about a bucket list item,” Amer wrote. The content creator also discussed the subtle messaging with River, including shoes featuring the trans flag colors.

“I wanted to write a nonbinary character that was aspirational and incredibly cool, someone for the pups (and kids at home) to look up to. They found an awesome non-binary actor to voice River and I’m so so happy about how it turned out,” the post continued. Amer also shared photos of River’s shoes.

“Peep River’s [non-binary, transgender] kicks!” the activist wrote.

Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh said the “Paw Patrol” episode is part of a larger effort by Hollywood to indoctrinate children from a very young age by exposing them to LGBTQ messaging early and often.

“Even back in 2020 they were, as you can see here, displaying the so-called ‘non-binary’ flag by adorning a boat in its colors. It’s not subtle at all, unless you’re in pre-school,” Walsh said. “For that audience, the idea is to get them used to seeing these colors and associating it with something good and fun and welcoming, so that when they encounter the ‘non-binary’ flag in real life, they will draw that association. Subliminal messaging is a big part of kids’ cartoons these days.”

Walsh also pointed out how Amer openly promotes far-Left principles for young kids. Amer said toddlers should be introduced to “big abstract concepts like queerness” and that infants should have a “queer and gender-affirming environment in their nursery.”

People expressed their disgust on social media.

“It’s not entertainment when it’s really propaganda,” one reaction said.

“I’m so sick of seeing this s***. Leave our kids alone!!!” another echoed.
