Woman Arrested For Allegedly Threatening To Kill Judge Overseeing Trump Federal J6 Case

A woman in Texas has been arrested after allegedly admitting to federal authorities that she called U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan in Washington, D.C., and threatened to kill her if former President Donald Trump is not elected in 2024.

According to court documents, Abigail Jo Shry threatened to kill Chutkan, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), the LGBT community, and other “democratic parties” that were not identified.

Shay called Chutkan’s chambers on the night of August 5 and left a message that began with her allegedly saying, “Hey, you stupid slave n*****.”

Law enforcement said that she “threatened to kill anyone who went after former President Trump, including a direct threat to kill Congresswomen Sheila Jackson Lee, all democrats in Washington D.C. and all people in the LGBTQ community.”

The documents then quote her as saying, “You are in our sights, we want to kill you,” and, “We want to kill Sheila Jackson Lee.” “If Trump doesn’t get elected in 2024, we are coming to kill you, so tread lightly, b****.”

Shry also allegedly said, “You will be targeted personally, publicly, your family, all of it.”

DHS officials visited Shry’s home three days later on August 8 and questioned her about the call, at which time she allegedly admitted that “she did in fact make the call to Judge Chutkan’s chambers.”

Shry stated that she had no plans to travel to Washington, DC or Houston to carry out anything she stated, adding that if Sheila Jackson Lee comes to Alvin, then we need to worry,” the documents added.

Shry was charged by federal law enforcement with Transmission in Interstate or Foreign Commerce of any Communication Containing a Threat to Injure the Person of Another in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 875(c).
