Illegal Alien Allegedly Crashes Into School Bus, Killing Small Child. Biden’s ‘Catch And Release’ Under Scrutiny.

President Joe Biden’s “catch and release” policy is under renewed scrutiny after an illegal alien allegedly crashed his minivan into a school bus last week, resulting in dozens injured and the death of an 11-year-old Ohio boy.

On Monday, Breitbart reported that Haitian national Hermanio Joseph appeared in court in Clark County, Ohio, after being arrested on aggravated vehicular homicide charges. The tragedy occurred on August 22 — the boy’s first day of school. The 11-year-old child was ejected from the bus and succumbed to injuries. Dozens were injured and sent to the hospital after the bus flipped due to the crash.

The suspect reportedly entered the country illegally in 2022. He was then given an immigration hearing date and a “notice to appear” and was subsequently released into the U.S. as is customary under Biden’s immigration policies. This procedure has been called “catch and release” and was re-started after Biden dismantled numerous Trump-era immigration policies.

According to recent data, at least two million illegal aliens have been allowed into the country under that policy. Such individuals are typically given an official notice to appear for a court date, often at a to-be-determined future date. Experts say that there is currently a years-long backlog, meaning that these individuals are free to roam about the country, often untracked. That data also does not include the hundreds of thousands who cross the border undetected each year under Biden.

“The Biden administration’s ‘welcome and release’ agenda continues to put our communities at risk,” National Immigration Center for Enforcement advisory board member John Fabbricatore told Breitbart. “Their goal is to let in as many poorly vetted illegal aliens as possible, often without proper GPS tracking or scheduled court appearances. When will this administration put public safety first, or is mass migration more important?”

Some illegal aliens aren’t even given court dates. Others have to wait 10 years for a hearing.

Of course, critics have said that such policies incentivize cartels and human smugglers, who can make large profits by virtually guaranteeing entry into the U.S. for those willing to pay for the journey.

Americans of all ages, meanwhile, suffer the consequences as millions from

If Joseph is convicted, he faces six to 12 months in jail and/or a $5,000 fine, per WHIOTV7. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed a detainer on the individual.

In reaction to the tragedy, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) shared his condolences for the victim and his family on social media.

“Please pray for the little boy who was killed in a bus crash in Clark County earlier this week,” Vance said. “May God bless him and his family. As we all get ready for a new school year, no family should have to go through this.”

He’s right, they shouldn’t. Yet the reality is that the longer the border is open and Biden remains in power, the more “Angel Families” will be created as the result of avoidable killings caused by illegal aliens.
