Joe Biden’s affirmative action spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre clearly had no idea what she was talking about when MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart asked her about the object shot down over the Yukon on Saturday.
“I ordered the take down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace. NORAD Command shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object.” Trudeau said earlier Saturday.
Trudeau said he spoke with Joe Biden on Saturday.
Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand on Saturday evening said, “This was the first time that a NORAD operation has down an aerial object.”
“The object was flying at 40,000 feet and had unlawfully entered Canadian airspace and posed a reasonable threat to the safety of civilian flight,” she said.
Karine Jean-Pierre took softball questions from MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart and she still fell flat on her face.
KJP incoherently babbled about NORAD when asked why the American military shot down something out of the sky over Canada.
“Why is the American military shooting something out of the sky over Canada?” Jonathan Capehart asked KJP.
“Because it’s part of NORAD. There’s, uh, the NORAD is part of like a, part of a—it’s a, it’s a, what you call, a coalition, a consortium –
Capehart jumped in to help Karine Jean-Pierre – “A pact!”
“A pact! Exactly!” KJP said. “We did it clearly in step with CANADIA!”
