‘Most Transparent Administration Ever’ Won’t Reveal Chinese Balloon’s Whereabouts, Americans Told To Look At Sky For More Information

If you want to know where exactly the suspected Chinese spy balloon is over the Midwest, you’re out of luck.

On Friday, Pentagon Press Secretary Brigadier Gen. Pat Ryder — of the “most transparent administration ever” as it has come to be mocked — told inquiring minds to turn their eyes towards the clouds if they want to know its location.

“Does the public not have a right to know if the balloon is over their state?” a reporter asked him.

“The public certainly has the ability to look up in the sky and see where the balloon is,” he answered.

Ryder also added that he will not be giving an hour-by-hour update of its whereabouts.

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin tapped Ryder for the press job in August 2022.

“Pat will fill a critical role, leading our efforts to provide timely, accurate information to the media, and through the media to the American people,” Austin said at the time.

Somehow, it seems doubtful that Ryder’s performance today meets the definition of providing “timely, accurate information.”

On day one of the Biden administration, then-White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki promised Biden would “bring transparency and truth back to the government to share the truth, even when it’s hard to hear.”

More than two years into it, it is apparent that was a lie.

The White House has known about this balloon since Wednesday, according to reports. It seems that the American people only found out about it because civilians spotted it floating in the sky and wondered what the heck it was.

We were told that the military could not shoot it down out of fear that it would land on the population below, possibly causing injury and death.

Meanwhile, the international embarrassment is broadcasting to the world, yet again, that under President Joe Biden the U.S. can be tossed around by anybody and everybody.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) blasted the president for his lackluster response.

“Everything about the Biden admin’s response to the Chinese spy balloon reeks of indecision and weakness. They can’t decide whether to shoot it down or not,” Cruz said. “They can’t decide whether to go to China or not.”

“China has been spying on us pervasively,” he continued. “They also commit genocide, use slave labor, and threaten us and our allies. Staggering to think a balloon changes everything for Team Biden.”

In all likelihood, it won’t change anything for Biden or much of the Washington, D.C., class benefitting from the Chinese government.
