By Spring of 2021, Parents in most states were, at a minimum, “strongly encouraged” to vaccinate their child against Covid-19 if they wanted their child to be allowed to participate in sports. In most instances, the alternative to vaccination was weekly testing, which was not a very palatable option. Thinking they were “doing the right thing”, many parents complied. Now, in spring of 2022, some parents have begun to see this sign pop up in their pediatrician’s office:
This particular sign was posted at Jackson River Pediatrics Office in Virginia. The sign states:
STUDENT ATHLETES:
“Sports physicals are done primarily to make sure you are not at high risk for sudden cardiac death on the playing field. COVID vaccination affects your risk. In response to worldwide experience and vaccine adverse-event monitoring, we are adopting a more precautionary sports physical sign-off policy:
If you have received doses of any COVID shot, we will not be able to clear you to compete in sports without performing lab work and possibly an echocardiogram to rule out potential heart damage. “
According to Gateway Pundit, the office is refusing to answer inquires about the sign. It has also taken down their Facebook page after a photo of the sign, taken by a patient, went viral.
PJMedia located the owner of the photo, who originally posted the photo on Facebook. They reported that the owner is extremely uncomfortable about being put in the limelight. The owner did confirm that the photo was taken at Jackson River Pediatric. They spoke with the owner, who preferred to remain anonymous:
“I know that sometimes we put things like sports physicals off until the last minute,” said the poster, who spoke to PJ Media anonymously. “Part of my intentions of sharing the picture that I took Monday at our pediatrician’s office was to let parents who had their children vaccinated for COVID know that they cannot wait until the last minute for sports physicals,” she said. “I have received backlash from friends and family for not having my children vaccinated for COVID,” she continued. “I believe that my husband and I made the right choice but now I have proof that someone educated far greater than I has evidence that the COVID vaccine can do damage to children’s health.”
The concerned mom thinks people deserve to have all the facts. “I don’t condemn anyone for choosing to vaccinate their children for COVID,” she said. “People need to make the decision that is best for their own situation.”
The CDC has acknowledged that the incidence of heart-related illnesses, particularly in adolescents and young adults, has increased since mRNA Covid-19 vaccinations began. This CDC Advisory Meeting on Immunization Practices (ACIP) presentation is worth a review, for anyone who would like to know more about the link between myocarditis and the Covid-19 vaccination.
There have been a number of other, unconfirmed, reports and photos of these signs popping up across the country. Time will tell if it becomes the standard of care at all physicians offices. If it does, there will be MANY questions to answer. I personally will want to know what data school districts used to justify this risk to our students. I will also want to know how we are supposed to explain all of this to our children. And, as an aside, who is going to be responsible for paying for all of the extra testing and care that may be needed? Sure, the vaccinations themselves were supposedly “free” (unless you consider the taxes you pay). Strangely though, the consequences of the vaccinations may not be very affordable [except for big pharma and the medical establishment.. they make out quite well…again].
