Kyle Rittenhouse Announces Intent to Sue Whoopi Goldberg and Others For Calling Him a Murderer After His Acquittal

Kyle Rittenhouse has publically announced a new initiative that he’s launching to combat the lies of large news organizations and hold them accountable. The 18-year-old also said he would be holding news organizations, celebrities, and athletes – such as Whoopi Goldberg – accountable for calling him a murderer after he was acquitted of killing two men in Kenosha.

“Me and my team have decided to launch The Media Accountability Project as a tool to help fundraise and hold the media accountable for the lies they said and deal with them in court,” Rittenhouse announced on Monday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight.

“I don’t want to see anybody else have to deal with what I went through,” said Rittenhouse. “So I want to hold them accountable for what they did to me because I don’t want to see anybody have to go through what I went through.”

Tucker Carlson asked who, if anyone, Rittenhouse was planning to sue himself. “Well, right now, we’re looking at quite a few politicians, celebrities, athletes… Whoopi Goldberg’s on the list,” replied Rittenhouse. “She called me a ‘murderer’ after I was acquitted by a jury of my peers. She went on to still say that.”

Rittenhouse also mentioned Cenk Uygur, the founder of ‘The Young Turks’, which is a liberal and left-wing news commentary show. Rittenhouse told Carlson that Uygur called him a “murderer” before the trial, and continues to do so even after the trial has long ended.

“What about the people who groundlessly called you a white supremacist? It makes it pretty hard to get a job for the rest of your life if you are a white supremacist. Will you be responding to them?” asked Carlson.

“Absolutely,” responded Rittenhouse. “We’re going to hold everybody who lied about me accountable.”
