Republican lawmakers who supported the impeachment of President Trump are dealing with the repercussions in the aftermath of their votes to side with unhinged Democrats whose only goal was to prevent Trump from ever running for President again. Traitors like Rep. Liz Cheney were censured from the Republican Party in her home state of Wyoming, while others are like Rep Adam Kinzinger, the young Republican Representative from Illinois is facing backlash from his own family.
Kinzinger, who was first elected during Barack Obama’s first term as president, recently voted to impeach Trump. Kinzinger took his dislike for Trump to a whole new level when he announced last week that he’d formed a new PAC to challenge Republicans who still support Trump.
In February 2021, Rep. Adam Kinzinger released a scathing handwritten letter he received from a number of his relatives, calling him a ‘disappointment to God’ and a stain on their family’s name for backing the impeachment of Donald Trump.
Kinzinger told the New York Times he received the disparaging note just two days after calling for Trump to be removed from office following the Capitol riots on January 6.
Penned by 11 extended family members, Kinzinger was accused in the letter of being in cahoots with ‘the devil’s army (Democrats and the fake news media)’ for publicly opposing the then-president and requesting the 25th Amendment be invoked against him.
‘Oh my, what a disappointment you are to me and to God!’ the letter, dated January 8, begins. ‘We were once so proud of your accomplishments! Instead, you go against your Christian principles and join the “devil’s army.”’
‘How do you call yourself a Christian when you join the “devil’s army” believing in abortion!’ the note continues. ‘We thought you were “smart” enough to see how the left is brainwashing so many.’
Kinzinger’s family then accuses him and ‘many other GOP members of being ‘brainwashed’ by Democrats and ‘falling for their socialism ideals.’
On May 12, 2021, President Trump released a blistering statement directed at ousted Republican leader Liz Cheney saying, “She is a warmonger whose family stupidly pushed us into the never-ending Middle East Disaster.”
“Liz Cheney is a bitter, horrible human being. I watched her yesterday and realized how bad she is for the Republican Party. She has no personality or anything good having to do with politics or our Country. She is a talking point for Democrats, whether that means the Border, the gas lines, inflation, or destroying our economy. She is a warmonger whose family stupidly pushed us into the never-ending Middle East Disaster, draining our wealth and depleting our Great Military, the worst decision in our Country’s history. I look forward to soon watching her as a Paid Contributor on CNN or MSDNC!”
In response to Trump’s blistering rebuke of the RINO lawmaker, Cheney told the media, “I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office.” She made it clear that she is targeting Trump to ensure he doesn’t win in 2024. Cheney was visibly bitter and used the fake news in her (failed) attempt to tarnish Trump’s reputation.

Today, the RNC Committee has voted to formally censure both RINO Reps Liz Cheney (WY) and Adam Kinzinger (IL) and to “no longer support them as members of the Republican Party.” Cheney and Kinzinger are the only two “Republicans” who are part of the bogus J6 Committee, a front group that is being used by the Democrat Party to investigate and silence Trump supporters, activists, and Trump officials who were nowhere near Washington DC on January 6.
RNC Chair Ronna Romney officiated over the vote by the RNC Committee members:
