Widow of Slain NYPD Officer Blasts Soros-Funded, Woke DA At Husband’s Funeral: “We are not safe anymore...I know you were tired of these laws, especially the ones from the new DA” [VIDEO]

On January 22, 22-year-old NYPD Officer Jason Rivera was murdered reportedly by 47-year-old career criminal Lashawn McNeil during domestic violence call. In a world where justice is blind, McNeil would have been sitting in prison, instead of terrorizing his sick mother in Harlem.

NY CBS Local – Officers Jason Rivera and Wilbert Mora responded to a 911 call from a woman who said she was having a dispute with her son at around 6:30 p.m. Friday on West 135th Street between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard.

The woman told police she recently had a medical procedure and her son was in town from Baltimore to help out, but they got into a dispute.

“The mother was not really specific. She just stated that she was ill. Her son was coming up to take care of her, and he became problematic,” Mayor Eric Adams said.

When officers arrived, McNeil was in a bedroom down a long, narrow hallway. As they approached, the door swung open and multiple shots were fired.

Police recovered a gun at the scene and believe it was illegally purchased in Baltimore.

According to police, McNeil had been arrested five times before the deadly encounter and was on probation after being convicted of a felony drug charge in New York City in 2003. He was arrested four times outside the city on various charges, including assault on an officer and weapon possession.

A third cop shot McNeil as he attempted to flee the scene.

On Monday, career criminal Lashawn McNeil died from his injuries.

Rivera’s partner Wilbert Mora, who was critically injured reportedly by the career criminal died from his injuries on Tuesday.

“It’s with great sadness I announce the passing of Police Officer Wilbert Mora,” Sewell wrote. “Wilbert is 3 times a hero. For choosing a life of service. For sacrificing his life to protect others. For giving life even in death through organ donation. Our heads are bowed & our hearts are heavy,” NYPC Police Commissioner Sewell tweeted.

Emotions ran high yesterday, as fellow NYPD officers paid tribute to their fallen brothers. NYPD Officer Sterling Medina told the crowd that Wilbert Mora’s smile ‘lit up a room’. ‘To know that we’re not gonna get that again, it hurts,’ the emotional officer added before his grief visibly overcame him

Standing in front of a packed St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, Dominique Luzuriaga, the widow of 22-year-old Jason Rivera, brought down the house when she slammed NYC’s George Soros funded Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg. In her address to the crowd of mostly law enforcement officers and their families, Luzuiaga blasted NYC DA Bragg for his openly soft-on-crime approach. “You have the whole nation on gridlock, and although you won’t be here anymore. I want you to live through me. The system continues to fail us. We are not safe anymore—not even the members of the service. I know you were tired of these laws, especially the ones from the new DA. I hope he’s watching you speak through me right now.” The crowd erupted in cheers.
