Tragic: 33-Year-Old Father Dies After Developing Autoimmune Disease From Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine

A 33-year-old father died on Friday who developed an autoimmune disease after receiving his second shot of the Pfizer COVID vaccine.

Brandon Pollet suffered a severe reaction 48 hours after his second COVID vaccination. According to his doctors, the COVID vaccine had caused Brandon an immune response that led to the development of an autoimmune disease.

“Brandon had no prior medical history,” Brandon’s wife Jessica Pollet said. “After his second Pfizer vaccine, Brandon developed a headache right away then fever 48 hours after,” Herald Guide reported.

According to a fundraising campaign, Brandon had high fevers, terrible headaches, and his blood counts were not what they should be. Despite seeking medical advice, he did not improve and only got worse. His first hospital stay was from October 21 to November 2.

Before his death, Brandon wished to spread his story for awareness. Read more on his fundraising campaign:

Edited to add to help with Funeral Cost. May Brandon rest in peace.

Please raise awareness as Brandon wished for. https://www.facebook.com/525996605/posts/10158319174776606/?d=n
Hi, my name is Beth Collura. I’m raising money for Brandon Pollet, his wife and his one-year-old daughter. Brandon was a healthy 33-year-old who got sick 48 hours after he took his second covid vaccine at the end of August. He had high fevers, terrible headaches, and his blood counts were not what they should be. Despite seeking medical advice, he did not improve and only got worse. His first hospital stay was from October 21 to November 2. After coming home from the hospital Brandon was still very sick at home. He couldn’t bring his fevers down and he was very weak and now he is currently back in a hospital in New Orleans in ICU and has been there since December 12. He is being treated for Stills Disease and Adult onset HLH disease. Doctors have been running multiple tests and doing scans, he has started chemo and had steroid treatments, receives blood products daily, insulin, and the list goes on. The bills are stacking up quickly. There are medications the doctors want to try, but we are still waiting on approval for them. His wife Jessica is now out of work on FMLA leave in order to be there for Brandon.
Please consider donating to this sweet family. They can use all the help and prayers they can get.

Jessica Pollet shared on her Facebook account that Brandon fought till his last breath. “I’m sorry, I tried to beat it,” Brandon said as he was dying.

On Saturday, Jessica wrote a heartbreaking post on her Facebook account, “Brandon, The memory of you will never die. We will never stop thinking about, talking about, or dreaming About you. I love you with everything in me.”
