“The Person I Nominate will Be the First Black Woman Ever Nominated to the Supreme Court” – Biden Delivers Remarks on Breyer Retirement (VIDEO)

Joe Biden on Thursday delivered remarks on the retirement of Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer.

“I’m here today to express the nation’s gratitude to Justice Stephen Breyer for his remarkable career in public service,” said Biden.

Biden announced he has not made a decision yet on who will replace Breyer.

Joe Biden did say however that Breyer’s replacement will be a black woman.

“I’ve made no decision except one: The person I will nominate will be someone with extraordinary qualifications…That person will be the first Black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court,” said Biden.
