Kamala Harris drove within several yards of 'pipe bomb' put outside the DNC on January 6, report claims with the FBI STILL searching for a suspect after more than a year

Vice President Kamala Harris drove within several yards of the pipe bomb found outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters on Capitol Hill on January 6.

CNN reported new details Monday about the proximity Harris, then vice president-elect, was to the pipe bomb, also reporting that the California senator spent two hours inside the DNC before the bomb was discovered.

Harris' motorcade arrived at DNC headquarters around 11:30 a.m., with the vehicles traveling through the garage to the parking deck, near where law enforcement officials found the bomb, the network said.

Rioters face off with police at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021

Rioters face off with police at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021

Politico reported earlier this month that Harris had been inside the DNC when the bomb had been discovered.

She was evacuated just minutes after the Capitol Police began investigating it.

The explosives were reportedly placed there the night before, meaning Harris would have entered the building while a bomb was nearby.

The FBI is still looking for the suspect who placed two of the explosive devices outside of both the Republican and Democrat headquarters.

At 1:07 p.m. on January 6, law enforcement reportedly began probing the pipe bomb placed outside the Democratic headquarters.

Just seven minutes later at 1:14 p.m. an unnamed 'protectee' was escorted out by Capitol Police and Secret Service.

Four sources including a White House official and a former law enforcement official told Politico that 'protectee' was Harris.

Previously revealed timelines show former President Donald Trump's MAGA mob broke into the Capitol less than an hour later.

The DNC bomb threat was neutralized at 4:36 p.m.

To date the FBI still has not named a suspect in their investigation into who placed 'viable' pipe bombs outside of Democrat and Republican Headquarters the night before the riot

The bomb found outside the Republican National Committee was neutralized about an hour later.

The bombs were connected to egg timers and contained an explosive powder.

Neither detonated, but the FBI said they were viable, CNN reported.

Before this month, Harris' movements on January 6 went undisclosed.

However, when she addressed the Capitol attack on its anniversary from the Capitol Building, the vice president talked a little about her experience.

'On that day, I was not only Vice President-elect, I was also a United States senator,' she recalled. 'And I was here at the Capitol that morning, at a classified hearing with fellow members of the Senate Intelligence Committee.'

'Hours later, the gates of the Capitol were breached,' she continued.

'I had left. But my thoughts immediately turned not only to my colleagues, but to my staff, who had been forced to seek refuge in our office, converting filing cabinets into barricades,' Harris added.
