DEM Gov. Pushes Vaccines, Boosters For Omicron That’s Infecting Vaccinated, Boosted Individuals...Says If People Aren’t Vaccinated “It’s their own darn fault” If They Get Sick

More people who’ve received the COVID jab are becoming infected with Omicron, the latest COVID variant, than those who are unvaccinated. The Omicron symptoms continue to be mild for both the vaccinated and unvaccinated, with no reported hospitalizations.

Very little has been reported in the dishonest corporate media about Omicron’s mild or moderate symptoms or zero hospitalizations related to the latest COVID variant. Instead, the dishonest media focuses on blue states where (non-Omicron) COVID cases are on the rise. In the blue state of Colorado, Democrat Governor Jared Polis is telling citizens of his state if they don’t get vaccinated, it’s their fault if they get sick from COVID.

“Everybody had more than enough opportunity to get vaccinated,” Polis told Colorado Public Radio on Friday. “Hopefully, it’s been at your pharmacy, your grocery store, a bus near you, big events. At this point, if you haven’t been vaccinated, it’s really your own darn fault.”

“Those who get sick, it’s almost entirely their own darn fault,” he continued. “I don’t want to say that nobody [will get the virus if they’re] vaccinated, but it’s very rare. Just to put it in perspective, of the about 1400 people hospitalized, less than 200 (or 16 percent) are vaccinated. And many of them are older or have other conditions. Eighty-four percent of the people in our hospitals are unvaccinated, and they absolutely had every chance to get vaccinated.”

“And at this point, I think it’s almost like they made a deliberate decision not to get vaccinated,” he added. “I still encourage everybody who hasn’t been vaccinated to get protected. And for those who are, make sure to get that booster after six months. The data shows it’s important and very likely even more so with this omicron variant.”

Is Governor Polis’ condemnation of the unvaccinated justified? Data from a Mayo Clinic US Covid-19 tracking map gives us some insight into states with both high and low vaccination rates and reveals how many people in those states have tested positive for COVID in the past 7-day average.

In Colorado, 65.6% of the population is vaccinated. 41.2 of every 100K people in the state have tested positive for COVID in the past 7-day average.

In Louisiana, only 49.4% of the population is vaccinated, and 9.6 people per 100K tested positive for COVID over the past 7-day average.

In Maine, 73.9% of the population is vaccinated, yet a whopping 70.3 of every 100K people in the state have tested positive for COVID in the past 7-day average.

There doesn’t appear to be any correlation between high vaccination rates and the current numbers of COVID cases per 100K people in the states shown above over the past 7-day average.

Governor Polis is encouraging citizens in his state to get the booster to protect against the Omicron variant, “I still encourage everybody who hasn’t been vaccinated to get protected. And for those who are, make sure to get that booster after six months. The data shows it’s important and very likely even more so with this omicron variant.”

Is Gov. Polis telling people to get the booster to prevent them from getting the Omicron variant? Why is he telling people to get the booster to protect themselves when “fully vaccinated” individuals who have also received the booster shot are getting infected with the Omicron variant?

According to Newsweek – More than 20 cases linked to the variant across 11 states have been reported in the U.S. as of Saturday morning. Of these, eight are known to have been found in fully vaccinated individuals.

The first case in the U.S. emerged in California on Wednesday. While fully vaccinated, they were not yet eligible for a COVID-19 booster shot.

Another case emerged in Minnesota on Thursday, this time in a fully vaccinated adult who received a booster shot.

Other cases of Omicron in fully vaccinated patients have been reported in Colorado, Nebraska, Maryland, New Jersey, and Utah. Cases have also been reported in states like Pennsylvania, Missouri, and New York, but the vaccination histories of these patients were not fully understood at this time.

While a good amount of these patients might be seeing milder symptoms because of their prior vaccinations, even unvaccinated patients have reported less intense sicknesses. In Nebraska, where 5 of the 6 reported patients were not vaccinated, none of them required hospitalization for the infection. The one patient reported in Hawaii had also seen moderate symptoms despite being unvaccinated.

Last week, the Daily Mail reported about a Wisconsin wedding with fully vaccinated guests that turned out to be a super-spreader of the COVID Omicron variant.

Debra Furr-Holden, 47, the associate Dean of Public Health Integration at Michigan State University, said she attended the Milwaukee wedding on November 27 after she was assured nearly all 100 guests, many of whom were medical experts, were vaccinated.

While Furr-Holden confirmed that she went on to infect her daughter, Jordan, Kaiser Permanente officials said the infected employees may have exposed a total of 38 co-workers and patients at two Oakland, California hospitals.

Kaiser Permanente officials told the San Francisco Chronicle that the 11 infected employees were fully vaccinated and had received booster shots.

‘I’ll give people a cautionary tale,’ Furr-Holden told ABC. ‘If a group of medical professionals and public health professionals can’t prevent spread at a social gathering, it’s just the luck of the draw for everybody.’

Is anyone else getting tired of arrogant Democrat politicians mocking Americans for making their own decisions about whether or not to accept a COVID jab vs. choosing natural immunity or alternative treatments?
