SNL FINALLY takes aim at Biden with soft digs on Kamala being handed control of the border crisis, his press conference cheat sheets and THAT Air Force One tumble

Saturday Night Live finally took a shot at President Joe Biden 67 days after his inauguration with jokes about Kamala Harris running the border situation response, his press conference cheat sheets and his Air Force One tumble.

During the Weekend Update with Colin Jost and Michael Che, Jost said: 'This week kind of felt like Biden on those stairs,' referring to the moment Biden fell up the stairs to Air Force One.

'You thought it had to get better but it repeatedly got worse.'

Earlier in the broadcast, host Maya Rudolph appeared as Kamala Harris holding a Passover Seder with her husband Doug Emhoff, played by Martin Short, while Biden - played by Alex Moffat - joins the party wearing his signature sunglasses.

'Hey did you all catch my press conference, it was so easy. A lot of critics thought I wasn't mentally prepared enough but I think I proved them all wrong,' Biden says as he looks at flash cards.

The real Biden had been pictured using cheat sheets during his first press conference - which did not prevent him from misstating key facts and losing his train of thought at times.

'Oh Kamala, I'm not sure if you've heard but I've put you in charge of solving a little immigration problem down at the Mexican border.'

'Yes, I did hear that. Wow. Thank you, for the opportunity. Such a fun, solvable problem,' Harris quips before asking Biden what he his responsibilities are.

Biden responds: 'Moi? Giving out checks. Who wants stimmies? Woooo! Make it rain.'

Earlier this week, the real Biden had tapped Harris to lead the administration's efforts to stem the 'serious spike' in immigration at the border and tasked her with enhancing relationships with Mexico and other countries to slow migration.

Biden's dog Major then joins the group as he arrives 'back from being retrained' as a Passover surprise.'

'He's all better now, aren't you Major? He's a sweet pooch,' Biden says as Major growls.

The dog then attacks Emhoff in a sketch about the real life incident where Major had to be sent to Delaware after a biting incident at the White House.

The rescue pup has since been spotted back at the White House after biting a security guard.

Saturday Night Live had skewered Miami's wild Spring Breakers with crude 'waxed, vaxed or snatched' gameshow during its lackluster cold open.

The opening sketch ignored hitting at Biden and Harris despite being off the air for four weeks.

'You're watching MTV Spring Break Live in Miami Beach where the party don't stop until the government mandated curfew. Next up, it's the number one game show for hot infections singles,' the show opens.

Host Maya Rudolph then introduces herself as Cece Vuvuzela while putting on a Hispanic accent.

'We're here in beautiful Miami Beach during a global pandemic. We are so close to the end, let's ruin it!' Rudolph says.

She then quipped 'When I say 'fourth' you say 'wave' before introducing the gameshow, where three male contestants were tasked with guessing if the woman was 'waxed, vaxxed or snatched.'

'Snatched: meaning their physique be right and tight. Vaxxed … or Waxed: meaning smooth like a seal,' Rudloph declares.

The contestants were played by Kyle Mooney, Beck Bennett and Chris Redd. Female guests were played by Chloe Fineman, Ego Nwodim and Heidi Gardner.

Rudolph introduces the show's first 'COVID cutie' named Madison who says she is in Miami to 'get COVID or get laid,' played by Fineman.

'Don't let the pandemic change your priorities,' Rudolph quips.

One of the contestants says: 'She sounds like she's down for anything crazy so I'm going to say vaxxed.'

Later in the sketch Gardner's character noted she can't wear a mask 'because it irritates my cold sores.'

Social media users are already asking why the Kamala Seder sketch wasn't the cold open instead of the bizarre spring break sketch.

'Am I high or are they doing the cold open of this SNL episode half an hour in to the show,' @gaymumbling tweeted.

Another Twitter user @farcialities noted: 'Maya Rudolph's SNL episode tonight is the first in a while to not have a political cold open.'

'I'd have to assume they originally planned on doing the Kamala Harris skit as the cold open but then shifted gears for unknown reasons,' @farcialities added.

Others commended SNL for not making the political sketch the cold open.

'Not the CO I expected, but having a fast, noisy, non-political intro isn't a bad idea,' @SoapsandSciFi tweeted.

He added that longtime SNL writer Emily Spivey returned for the Kamala Seder sketch.

'It's certainly different than most modern SNL cold opens (this was meant to be the cold open), but felt flat, aside from Martin Short's visible delight and cracking up, and the dog attack sequence. Smart to move it,' @SoapsandSciFi tweeted.
