'Are you good, sir? Do you need medical attention?' New Capitol siege footage shows cop trying to help MAGA rioters, saying he 'can't stop them' because he's outnumbered and urging the QAnon Shaman to 'respect' the Senate

Shocking new footage captured inside the Capitol during the January 6 riot shows a timid police officer sharing friendly interactions with a group of MAGA insurrectionists that viewers online have called an example of ‘white privilege at its best’.

Veteran war correspondent, Luke Mogelson, captured the video on the day hundreds of rioters, including 'QAnon Shaman' Jake Angeli, stormed the legislature following President Donald Trump's remarks at the Save America rally in Washington, DC.

The clip begins with a jovial Angeli walking into the Senate wing, greeting a group of fellow rioters with a member of US Capitol PD following closely behind him.

The self-dubbed shaman, seen clutching a US flag, is heard saying: ‘Hey! … Glad to see you guys. You guys are f***ing patriots. Look at this guy, He’s got, covered in blood. God Bless you.’

A man in a red hat and camouflage jacket is seen sitting on the floor, slumped against a wall as he speaks into a cell phone.

The officer, not visible in shot, is then heard warmly asking the man: ‘Are you good sir? Do you need medical attention?’

The man responds, ‘I’m good, thank you,’ and continues his conversation on the phone, in which he’s heard saying he was ‘shot in the face with a rubber bullet.’

In the meantime, Angeli is seen climbing up onto a stage and rummaging around in the desk of Vice President Mike Pence.

The officer then tentatively inquires: ‘Any chance I could get you guys to leave the Senate wing?’

The man on the floor then calls out, ‘We will. I’ve been makin’ sure they ain’t disrespecting the place.’

‘Okay,’ the officer replies. ‘I just wanna’ let you guys know, this is like the sacredest place.’

The officer watches on as Angeli asks if another man could take his photo at the Vice President’s desk, ‘because Mike Pence is a f***ing traitor.’

The officer makes a half-hearted gesture towards Angeli as if to encourage him to get down from the stage, but the motion is ignored and the officer makes no further attempt to move him.

As one protester tells the officer, ‘you should be stopping us’, the cop appears to disagree.

‘One, two, three, four five’ the officer says as he gestures to the protesters inside the room. ‘One,’ he then says pointing to himself, telling them he’s outnumbered 5-1 and therefore can’t stop them.

While other protesters call out they believe he’s ‘doing the right thing’ and ‘obeying his oath’, the officer adds: ‘I’m just making sure you guys don’t do anything else. Now that you’ve done that [taken a photograph] can I get you guys to walk out this room please?’

While the group respond ‘yes sir’, Angeli remains on stage leaving a note of the desk of Mike Pence.

‘I feel like you’re pushing the line,’ the officer calls out.

‘Come on man,’ one rioter says. ‘We love you, we love the cops.’

The footage then cuts and shows more protesters have filled into the chamber.

The group, led by Angeli, then conduct a prayer from Pence’s desk, in which he thanks the police for ‘allowing’ them into the building to ‘send a message to all the tyrants, communists and the globalists, to show this is our nation and not theirs.

The note Angeli left on Pence’s desk was later revealed to read: ‘It’s only a matter of time. Justice is coming.’

The 33-year-old, of Arizona, has since been arrested in relation to his part in the riot, and has been charged with knowingly entering a restricted building without lawful authority and with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol Grounds.

Prosecutors have accused the mob who stormed the Capitol of intending to ‘capture and assassinate’ elected officials.

They also argued that Angeli should not be released on bond, because he has become a ‘symbol’ of the siege and allegedly admitted he had intentions to return to DC for Biden’s inauguration.

Angeli was then denied release on Friday, with Arizona Magistrate Judge Deborah Fine citing him to be a ‘flight risk’, posing a ‘risk to obstructing justice’ and a ‘danger to the community.’

The decision came after federal prosecutors submitted a detailed court filing late Thursday saying Angeli, the 33-year-old Arizona QAnon supporter, had told federal authorities he was 'glad' he sat in Mike Pence's chair on the Senate dais.

The court documents revealed that he spewed QAnon conspiracy theories and said he was 'glad' because he believes the Vice President 'is a child-trafficking traitor'.

QAnon is the debunked extreme right wing conspiracy theory that claims Satan-worshipping pedophiles are plotting against Donald Trump and are running a global child sex trafficking ring.

First published by the New Yorker on Sunday, the footage of Angeli came as part of a 12-minute clip captured by Mogelson documenting how a horde of Trump supporters violently forced their way into the Capitol on January 6.

Other segments of the video show protesters smashing glass windows, rummaging through lawmakers' desks and mockingly posing for photos in Nancy Pelosi's chair.

At the start of the clip, the rioters are seen destroying property and climbing through a window at the Capitol building.

Several people are then seen confronting officers upon entry. One man is heard yelling at police: 'You're outnumbered! There's a f**king million of us out there! And we are listening to Trump, you're boss.'

They then marched upstairs yelling: 'Treason, treason, treason!'

'You're afraid of Antifa? Well guess what? America showed up,' the men yelled as they walked through the halls of the Capitol.

Moments later, they entered the Senate chamber.

'Where the f**k is Nancy?' one rioter questioned as they walked through the empty chamber.

In the clip, several people are seen taking photos of the documents that were secured inside binders in the chamber.

'There's gotta be something in here we can f**king use against these scumbags,' one man is heard telling another.

Toward the end of the video, a large mob is seen throwing equipment onto a pile and setting it on fire.

'Star making a list put all those names down and we start hunting them down one by one,' a man is heard yelling.

One said: 'Traitors get guillotine!'

'We are at war,' another yelled.

More than 125 people have been arrested so far on charges related to the violent insurrection led by Trump supporters at the Capitol, where a Capitol police officer and four others were killed.

Charges from the January 6 riot range from curfew violations to serious federal felonies related to theft and weapons possession.

Some of those arrests include Robert Sanford, 55, a retired Pennsylvania firefighter, who allegedly threw a fire extinguisher that hit three Capitol Police officers during the violent siege.

He was charged with assault of a police officer, disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, civil disorder and unlawfully entering the Capitol. His lawyer said he was a Trump supporter who got caught up in the mob mentality.

He was charged with violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, and unlawfully entering a restricted building.

The FBI and other law enforcement agencies continue to search for the identities of several other individuals who were photographed rioting in the Capitol.
