Dr. Anthony Fauci joined Jake Tapper on CNN on Sunday to discuss the coronavirus.
Dr. Fauci told Jake Tapper that he expects “based on what we’re seeing” somewhere between 100,000 and 200,000 coronavirus deaths in the US.
It’s not clear where he is getting his numbers.
The US currently has recorded 2,352 coronavirus deaths.

Dr. Fauci’s current estimates would make the coronavirus about 5 times more deadly than the seasonal flu.
