Andrew Yang
Democrat Andrew Yang dropped out of the presidential race on Tuesday evening.
Yang told reporters that he planned on dropping out ahead of the polls closing in New Hamphsire.
“I’m not someone who wants to take people’s donations, support, time and dedication if I don’t think we have a chance to win or advance our goals in the right direction,” Yang said, according to the Daily Beast.
Yang was best known for his promise to pay a “universal income” of $1,000 a month to every American over the age of 18.
