Wokeness is idiotic.
It might not even be a real word, but I’m a rebel.
Imagine being so woke that burning calories on a high-end piece of exercise equipment becomes unacceptable because the developer of said exercise equipment supports the current president of the United States of America.
Stephen Ross is a billionaire developer who has many irons in the fire. Ross owns 95% of the Miami Dolphins and the team’s home stadium. He owns a luxury health spa by the name of Equinox.
Ross also owns a luxury brand of exercise bike club called SoulCycle.
The SoulCycle brand is the center of a trendy, calorie-burning revolution (pun intended) in New York City where a roomful of people turn up the music and sweat their butts off. “SoulCycle is a full body indoor cycling workout,” the company’s website says. “We ride to the beat of the music and incorporate upper body exercises into our workout.”
However, the brand that former first lady Michelle Obama loves has hit a snag: Ross has hit the headlines as being a supporter of President Donald Trump. According to WABC-TV’s Derick Waller, Ross is hosting a fundraiser for Trump in the Hamptons where admission was “$250,000 for lunch, a photo and a private roundtable.”

So of course, the left lost its ever-loving mind.
Ross has never tried to hide the fact that he is a Republican donor and friend of Trump since the 1980s, but that didn’t stop the sweaty snowflakes from having a meltdown.
“So soul cycle supports a white supremacist? I’ve spent thousands upon thousands there… never again Wtf!” said Twitter user Peyton James.

Liberal tears and liberal sweat. It’s a hot mess up in here.
“This is heartbreaking, @soulcycle,” whined Twitter user Chantal Khalil. “Soulcycle is one of the few things that brings me happiness in such gut wrenching times. This goes against all of the values you preach. How can I in good conscience continue attending classes?”

Cry me a river, Chantal.
And perhaps the most absurd response of all came from liberal loudmouth Michael Moore, who must have a very secretive and ineffective exercise routine. “That’s it! Just cancelled my @SoulCycle membership!”

No, you didn’t, Mike. SoulCycle doesn’t even offer memberships, you lying liar.
The oddest part of the leftists’ kneejerk reaction is that the SoulCycle brand is enthusiastically supportive of causes such as LGBTQ Pride week, female empowerment and Black History Month.
I don’t know what Moore is seeing, but that is not a list of racist, sexist and bigoted ad campaigns.
I’m all for Ross donating as much as he wants to whoever he wants. That is how America should work. And how it works best.
And, of course, those on the left can boycott whoever they want for whatever reason they want. That’s also how America works.
But here’s the thing: For a group who claims to be the most accepting, progressive, open-minded and loving people on the planet, it sure seems like leftists don’t have an ounce of tolerance for the owner of their calorie-eliminating rave to think differently than they do.
