Right up top, we need to acknowledge the magic (and horror) that is the Facebook group Weird Secondhand Finds That Just Need To Be Shared, a name that I don’t think requires much explanation.
It’s where all of the photos in this gallery come from, and they have performed something like a public service here because I’ve gotta be honest… There are a couple of items in this gallery that I want to find for myself (also, captions have been added where clarification may or may not be necessary).

At a church rummage sale, my spouse asked if I had seen this ceramic creature. I looked and said “Do you smoke out of it?” The seller informed us that it was a whistle. Yes, it works, yes it came home with us.

I picked up this sweater a few years ago and listed it on Ebay. It was sold for around $80 and the buyer username was The Goldberg Studios. I started recording the TV show and it made its appearance the following season! It was on the air for a whopping 10 seconds.

Got this free giant cup! The lady who gave it to us said her husband was a liquor distributor and got it free. She just wanted it gone.

The snake costume (??) I found at Goodwill. I wore it to biology class for Halloween and got bonus points added to my grade. That’s my snake pose/face.
